Smothered ground beef


*Ingredients

° 2 large eggs
° 1 can of cream of onion soup
° 1 water bottle
° 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
° ½ onion, chopped
° 1 tablespoon beef stock powder
° 2 pounds lean ground beef
° 1 teaspoon garlic powder
° Salt and pepper to taste
° ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
° 2 slices of bread, finely diced

*Instructions

FIRST STEP:
In a bowl, scramble the eggs
Combine broth powder, onion and salt and pepper
SECOND STEP:
Soak the bread in the liquid
Add the meat to the bowl, kneading the mixture with your hands until well blended
THIRD STEP:
Shape the meat mixture into 8 equal sized patties
Place the patties in a pan and cook for 4 minutes on each side
FOURTH STEP:
Remove from pan and set aside for a few minutes
In the same skillet, add the soup mix, water and Worcestershire sauce and mix well
FIFTH STEP:
Return the patties to the pan, lower the heat to simmer, cover the pan and simmer for 30 minutes
Remove from the heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with sauce on top of the steak.
