''Soft-Chocolate-Batch-M&M Cookies''



These chocolate cookies decorated with delicious multicolored chocolate candies will delight young and old alike!

* Ingredients :

° 250 ml (1 cup) flour
° 60 ml (1/4 cup) cocoa
° 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) salt
° 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of baking soda
° 1/2 cup (125 ml) softened butter
° 1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
° 60 ml (1/4 cup) sugar
° 3 drops of vanilla extract
° 1 egg
° 120 g (4 squares) semi-sweet chocolate
° 250 ml (1 cup) chocolate candies (such as M & M’S or Smarties)

* Preperation :

Preheaat oven 160 ° C (325 ° F).
In a bowl, combine the flour with the cocoa, salt and baking soda.
In another bowl, with an electric mixer on high speed, combine the butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla until a creamy mixture is obtained. Add the egg and mix for a few seconds.
Melt semi-sweet chocolate in the microwave on medium power and fold into the preparation.
Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients. Add the chocolate candies and mix well.
Line a large baking sheet (or two small) with parchment paper. Place about 45 ml (3 tbsp.) Of dough for each cookie, staggering them and spacing them 2.5 cm (1 inch) apart.
Bake in the center of the oven for 15 to 18 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing the cookies from the baking sheet. Let cool on rack.
Storage: Cookies will keep for 3 to 5 days in the refrigerator in an airtight container and up to 8 months in the freezer.
