Experts Share How Often You Should Wash Your Jeans and It’s Different from What You Might Think

Almost everyone has a pair of jeans in their wardrobe, and it’s not hard to see why. Jeans, whether they’re blue or any other color, are incredibly versatile. They can be worn for various occasions, such as work, hanging out with friends, or even doing household chores. You can pair them with a casual t-shirt and sneakers for a laid-back look, or dress them up with high heels for a more sophisticated vibe. The possibilities are endless, making jeans a go-to choice for many. Well, in my case, I wear them almost every single day and I cannot imagine my wardrobe without my skinny jeans!

But here’s a question: how often should you wash your jeans? Should you wash them after every wear, once a week, once a month, or maybe even once a year? Well, there’s no definitive answer to this question. People have different opinions on the matter, but prepare to be surprised. Experts actually suggest that you can go up to a year without washing your jeans. It might sound strange, but designers believe that the longer you wear your jeans before washing them, the more they will conform to your body shape, making them truly yours.
