It's so cold outside that I told myself I needed soup, especially creamy potato soup, in order to live.Potato soup is obviously very attractive to me.

° Russet potatoes, I used about 5 medium size potatoes, which I peeled and cut into small cubes.
° 21/2 cup milk.
° 11/2 c yellow onions.
° 11/4 cup carrots, peeled and diced.
° 1 cup chopped celery.
° 1/3 cup butter.
° 1/3 cup all-purpose flour.
° 1/2 cup sour cream.
° Low-sodium  broth chicken, I used 2 medium 14.5 ounce cans.
° For seasoning, I utilized salt & freshly ground pepper black
 Optional components for surface canning:
° Cooked and sliced ​​bacon.
° Sliced ​​cooked pork. 
° cheese
° chop chives.

Here is how to make potato soup step by step:

Step 1:
In a large saucepan, combine potato slices, carrots, celery, and onions with the chicken broth.Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2:  Then, cover the pot and bring to a boil over medium heat (about 10 minutes to cook).
Step 3: When  is boiled to a low heat, turn the heat to medium and steam for another 15-20 minutes, or if you pierce the potatoes with a fork, until the potatoes are soft.
Step 4:  At the same time, melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and simmer over low heat, whisking constantly, for one minute.
Step 5:  Now gradually add milk while stirring and simmering, stirring constantly, until the quality thickens.
Step 6:  When the potatoes are soft, add the thick milk mixture to the potato soup mixture.
Step 7: After , add sour cream and mix well.
Step 8: Add broth to the  bowl and garnish with bacon or ham, cheddar cheese, and green onions.
