Slow Cooker Beef Tips

How to make beef tips

 

Sear: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Salt the meat with pepper and add in batches to turn on both sides until brown, but not well cooked.

Slow cooking: Add beef broth, dry onion soup mix, onions, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook over low heat for 5-6 hours or 3-4 hours.

Cornstarch: 30 minutes before ripening, mix water and cornstarch together in a small bowl. Stir in a slow cooker and let it thicken.

Serving: on top of pasta or mashed potatoes.

° 2 tablespoons of olive oil

° 3 pounds of meat broth

° Salt and Pepper

° 3 cups beef broth

° 1 package dry onion soup mix

° 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

° 1 small onion, diced

° 2 cups chopped mushrooms

° 3 garlic cloves, chopped

° 1/4 cup water

° 3 tablespoons of cornstarch

 

* Instructions
