Southern Fried Chicken Batter



* Ingredients:

° 2 cup flour
° 2 t black pepper
° 2 t paprika
° 4 t garlic salt
° ½ t poultry season mix
° 1 c buttermilk
° 2 beat eggs

* Methods :

FIRST STEP:
In bowl, blend beaten eggs with buttermilk
In other bowl, mixing flour, poultry season, garlic salt, paprika & black pepper, then place in  ziploc bag
SECOND STEP:
Placing chicken pieces in bag also shake bag to coat all pieces
Removing chicken & dip every piece in egg mixture
THIRD STEP:
Dipping every piece of chicken to flour mix one more time, shaking off excess.
Heat the oil in a heavy-bottomed skillet to 375*
FOURTH STEP:
Brown chicken on every side then reduce heat in pan.
Allow chicken to keep cook for 20 to 30 min, depending on size.
FIFTH STEP:
The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165* before serving.
Drain on absorbent paper and serve.
