The Old Fashioned Custard Pie



*Ingredients for 4 persons

°1 shortcrust pastry or all-butter puff pastry
°1/2 liter of milk
°150 to 200 g brown sugar (brown sugar)
°1 sachet of vanilla sugar
°5 tablespoons of flour
°2 whole eggs
°3 egg yolks

*PREPARATION

Leave milk and eggs at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Spread the dough in the pie dish and prick it all over with a fork. Put some dried beans on it to cook it blind until it is lightly browned.

In a saucepan, warm the milk slowly, remove from the heat and add the sugar and vanilla sugar.

Add all the well beaten eggs and yolks and mix vigorously then sift the flour.

Pour the batter and cook for 30 to 40 minutes depending on the oven.
To finish
Leave it in the fridge for 2 or 3 h.
