Old Fashioned Goulash


°1/2 pound pasta
°1 1/2 pounds ground beef
°1 large onion, garlic salt, pepper, hot pepper powder, hot sauce to taste
°2 cans (14.5 ounces) fully cooked undrained tomatoes
°2 tablespoons ketchup
°Tomato juice as needed


Cook pasta until done as directed on package. While cooking, brown ground beef and onions together in a very large skillet or Dutch oven.
Strain and season with spices as desired. In a large bowl, mash the tomatoes with the potato masher and add to the beef with ketchup. Drain the pasta and add to the meat mixture, stirring well. Taste and add additional seasoning as needed.I didn't need to add  tomato juice to my tomato juice, but if you like your juice a lot, you can add as much tomato juice as you want.
