Garlic Butter and Potato Slice


*ingredients :

°2-4 small steaks * see note
°Salt and pepper to taste
°Garlic powder to taste
°1 tablespoon olive oil
°2-4 lb potatoes, cut into cubes
°2-6 tsp salted butter, soft to mash with a fork, 1 tsp per slice, plus 2 tsp for potatoes
°2 tsp minced garlic
°1 tsp dry Italian herb mix
°1 tsp fresh thyme
°1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley

* Methods :

The oven is preheated 400 degrees. In a bowl, mix the butter, garlic, and dried herbs and separate them. Seasoning steaks with salt, pepper, & garlic powder on both sides.
Placing skillet on-high heat and spraying with oil. Roast steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side, to brown. Transfer it to a plate and divide it.
Add the potatoes to the skillet, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder, and saute for 3-5 minutes, until softened. Pushing potatoes to one side of skillet and returning steaks to other side of skillet.
Transfer to oven and cook for 15-20 minutes, until potatoes have softened with a fork and steaks are cooked to your liking.
Immediately after taking it out of the oven, put a little garlic butter on each steak and the rest on the potatoes and let it melt on the food before flipping potatoes to covering with butter, then topping it with chopped thyme also parsley before serve.
