Cracker Barrel Chicken And Dumplings


°2 liters chicken broth
°3 cups cooked chicken
°1 cup milk
°2 tablespoons butter
°pinch of salt
°2 cups flour
°½ teaspoon baking powder

The first step:
Now, in a bowl, we take the flour, baking powder and salt to mix them all properly.
Add the butter pieces inside using a fork or pastry mixer. Stir the milk until the mixture is ready and the dough turns into a ball.
The second step:
All this must be stirred properly and well so that the final dough becomes more tender.
Now, thicken flour on a work surface, this means just spread the flour over the surface where you are going to prepare the chicken and dumplings.
Third step:
Now, you will need to use the rolling pin or something to slice the dumplings with.
I like to do this with a pizza cutter and even a small spoon to do this, one can see which one suits them.
The fourth step:
Use the small spatula to lift the dumplings off the cutting surface.
Now, roll the dough, dip the flour in it and cut the dumplings into any shape.
Fifth step:
Use a spoon to lift it onto a floured plate and continue flour between layers. Bring the broth to a boil, drop the dumplings, leaving the extra flour on them.
