Mountain Dew Apple Dumplings

These are the easiest, tastiest apple balls ever! I replaced the Mountain Dew soda for Sprite and even the cream soda for a more vanilla taste.

* Ingredients :

° 2 granny smith apples
° 2 cans (227 grams), croissants
° A bowl with a capacity of
1/4 liter containing salted butter (2 sticks, plus 1 tablespoon of butter)
° A bowl with a capacity of
3/8 liter containing sugar
° 1 teaspoon of vanilla
° 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (to taste)
° 1 can of Mountain Dew soda (340 grams)

* Preperation :

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Peel and seed the apples. Cut each apple into 8 slices each. Rolling every apple slice to croissant. Place in a buttered 9 x 13 mold.
Melt the butter, then add the sugar and stir barely. Add the vanilla, stir and pour the entire mixture over the apples. For Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake for 40 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream and pour some of the sweet sauces from the pan on top.

Enjoy!
