A slightly sweet and savory accompaniment of carrots. Even the kids will love it!

* Ingredients :

Servings: 8
° 1 ½ lb baby carrots
° 1/4 cup butter
° 1/3 cup maple syrup
° salt and pepper to taste

* Preparation steps :

Place the carrots in a saucepan and cover with lightly salted water; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain & transfering to a serve bowl.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat; add maple syrup and heat 2-3 minutes. Drizzle the carrots with the hot syrup and stir gently. Season with salt and pepper. To serve.
