If you love apple pies like we do, then you are going to LOVE this Freezer Apple Pie Filling idea. In fact, thanks to this trick, you will save a lot of preparation time and you will also always have a nice apple pie ready in a few minutes.
* Ingredients :
° 5-6 apples, peeled and sliced into thin strips
° 2 tbsp. lemon juice
° 1 cup of sugar
° 1/4 cup Flour
° 1 C. cinnamon
° 1/4 tsp. salt
° 1/8 c. nutmeg
° 2 tbsp. butter, cut into pieces
* Method
In a Ziploc bag, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg.
Shake the bag to mix well.
Peel and cut apples.
Cover with lemon juice.
Add the apples and the cut butter to the bag.
* This recipe is good for 1 bag of garnish. With a bag you can make 1 pie.
