I want to publish "Taco Tuesday" from the beginning, why not?Well, this is a very good question, I don't know.I have made this taco pizza recipe several times, and every time I make it, it gets better and better!Homemade dough with bean pizza sauce, taco sauce, pizza sauce, two kinds of cheese (yes, two!), ground beef, lettuce, sour cream, served with taco sauce, served with... etc... Doritos Tacostyle!Yes, that's right, the good guys at Frito Lay created a "framework of ideas and chips" from which the taco-flavored Doritos was born. Not sure how much research and development went into it, but it was worth it.
* Ingredients :
° 1 large ready-made pizza dough
° 1 pound minced meat
° 1 packet taco seasoning
° 1 can of fried beans
° ⅓ Jim pico de gallo or salsa
° 1 C. Shredded taco or Mexican cheese mix
° Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions and sour cream for toppings
* Directions :
Oven is preheated to 400 degrees.
Cooking ground beef in skillet on medium-high heat to totally browned.
Adding taco seasoning to ground beef also sauté for a some min longer.
Mix refried beans & pico de gallo or salsa in bowl, also stir well.
Spreading bean blending in an even layer on prepared pizza crust.
Place the meat over the bean mixture.
Sprinkling cheese on top & baking for 10-12 min to the cheese is totally melted.
Top pizza with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, sour cream & any anoother top you might like before serve.
